Shank!

I love 2D games. I admit it, I'm an art-school educated snob who loves his games to have personal artist expressions. I like seeing "the artist's hand" in the work. I'm not a huge fan of pre-rendered gorgeousness. I'd rather have style over realism any day. In comic books, all of my favorite artists are ones with very unique styles like:

Kyle Baker

Mike Mignola

Kevin Maguire

Evan Dorkin

Ben Caldwell

What I love about Shank is that it has a very definite style and carries it all the way through the game. It's not out yet, but I'm based on what I've seen, I can't wait!

Has there been a game with graphics in the same style as Mike Mignola? I absolutely love the Hellboy books, and the art is a big part of that.

Wow, that looks like a ton of fun! I'm not too big into art (Sorry XD), but the gameplay seems like it would be quite entertaining. The fact that they used bullet time in a 2D game makes me laugh a little, but it seems to fit the game.

There is a Hellboy game (The Science of Evil for PS3 and PSP) but it's a weird hybrid of the movie and the comic. I don't know of a specific game that tries to channel Mignola's 2D art style but I think it would be a natural fit. I'd buy it if there was one!
